December 20,2005 I just want to thank all that came out Saturday night for the CCRA Christmas Dinner. Man what a blast! It was the largest one to date and I look forward to next years already. I have so many to thank for making it happen and I would like to start with my wife, she really helps me stay on track with what I need to do! I would probably forget to show up myself if she didn't take me. Just so you know some behind the scene stuff, I showed at the dinner in warm ups to help set up and for got my pants at home. I had forgotten some plaques for a few of the boys and she had to run and get them in the middle of the dinner. Yes, I am your leader, scary isn't it!? She is my rock and I just couldn't do this without her. I love you Honey! Bambi Kocian worked herself all week to help us get ready for this dinner and the place looked AWESOME! Thank you so much Bambi! I myself would have never had those tables look that good. Shane Hoevelman, My deepest thanks to you & Tanya, Church of the Extreme & Cavalry Baptist Church for coming all the way from Trinity Texas to bless this organization with "Battlecry". I lobbied to keep them as the CCRA Worship Band! These guys and gals were awesome and I hope you let me borrow them next year! When Chris broke out into Elvis's "Blue, Blue Christmas" I felt my right leg began to gyrate! They brought the house down for sure! Adam Hamza, Thank you for all you do buddy. You'll definitely get more mic time next year! This dinner was the best we have had and being this time of year I was overwhelmed by how everyone reached out to help the Agape Love Ministry so the boys at Hope Shelter could celebrate Christmas. I know the Lord is pleased. "For what you do for the LEAST of these, you have done for me as well". May the Lord lay many blessing upon you for you faithfulness. A special thanks to Reggie Predom for giving of his time to come out and speak to us. He is amazing! I pray the Lord Blesses his ministry to help house those boys. For those of you who have contributed throughout the year, you are the ones that really make all this happen and I am very, very thankful! We will have pictures on the website soon for all to see. I saw a lot of bulbs going off, so if you have pictures you would like to share please email them to dthomas@cwsystems.us I want to thank the CCRA Cake & Cookie Club, you guys did a fantastic job on the deserts!
